Special Interests: Palliative Care, Chronic Care, Women’s Health and Mental Health
Dr Sarah Bishop Browne graduated from the University of NSW in 2009. She completed internship and residency at St Vincent’s Hospital, Darlinghurst. Dr Bishop Browne then transferred to Royal North Shore Hospital where she undertook training in Radiation Oncology and Palliative Care. After 2 years working as a Radiation Oncology registrar at Wollongong and Prince of Wales Hospitals, Dr Bishop Browne accepted a role as a Palliative Care registrar in the Sacred Heart Health Service.
During these postgraduate years, Dr Bishop Browne completed a Masters of Health Science from the University of Sydney and a Clinical Diploma in Palliative Medicine. She holds qualifications in Advanced Life Support and Mental Health Assessment and Management (Black Dog Institute).
Dr Bishop Browne enjoys all aspects of General Practice, but has particular interest in palliative care, chronic care, women’s health, mental health and preventative medicine.
Dr Bishop Browne is married and enjoys travel, cooking, fitness and spending time in the sunshine with her pug.
